Fabric Design Competition 布料設計比賽

Entry must be submitted as an individual.

This competition is open to all full time or CET students at a Singapore education institution

Entry to ‘Fabric Design Competition’ is non-chargeable

There is no limit to the number of entry for each participant

Acceptable entry format are PDF or hard copy (hard copy design to be submitted to Singapore Eng Teng Association at 132 Neil Rd, Singapore 088861 during office hour)

Entries must include design explanations not exceeding 200 words

Entries must be original, undistributed works produced by the entrant. Withdrawal from competition is not allowed.

Submission of entry automatically transfers all rights to Singapore Eng Teng Association

By submitting entry to ‘Fabric Design Competition’, each entry express grants permission to use their name, country, design in publicity materials on and out of the competition website.

Entrant(s) shall indemnify, defend and hold the competition, the organiser – Singapore Eng Teng Association,, their employees, its agents, and its representatives, harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, costs, liabilities and expenses which may be incurred by reason of any breach of these representations, or arising out of or in connection with any content in the design

The winning teams and entries of the competition will be decided by a panel of judges.

All entrants may be filmed, photographed, and/or interviewed before, during and/or after the competition. The intellectual property rights for these recorded material(s) shall reside with the organiser- Singapore Eng Teng Association who reserve all rights to use these recorded materials for promotional and marketing purposes.

Entrants grant all rights to Singapore Eng Teng Association and its supporting organisations to use, upload their entry on Singapore Eng Teng Association website, supporting organisation’s websites, social media and events. And shall not be limited or restricted to the above mentioned.

By entering this competition, entrants agree and consent to organiser independently collecting, using and sharing their personal data, including their name, photograph and NRIC number (as may be necessary), amongst themselves and disclosing the same between organising committee members, and/or their respective authorised service providers for the purposes of (i) administering and promoting the competition, including to contact the winners of the competition; and (ii) publicity and/or advertising campaigns across all media, including in the organiser’s printed publications, audio and/or visual presentations, promotional materials and/or their websites, whether in the original or edited format. The participants further agree and acknowledge that organisers shall have the independent right to use their personal data for the purposes as aforesaid and that Organiser shall independently own the copyright and all other intellectual property rights in and to the records of the personal data without any further compensation to the participant(s).

By participating in the competition, entrants agree and consent to the competition terms and conditions, and to the organiser collecting, using and disclosing the personal data which you have submitted, and sharing such personal data amongst organising committee members and staff of Singapore Eng Teng Association, for the purpose of contacting you via mail, electronic transmission (eg. e-mail), SMS, telephone, and other means of communication (whether via your Singapore telephone numbers or otherwise) to inform you about their products and services.

Singapore Eng Teng Association shall not be liable for any safe custody, return, and non-delivery or missing of entries, late, misdirected or unavailable network, server or other connections or technical failures.

Prize(s) are non-transferable and non-exchangeable.

Singapore Eng Teng Association reserve all rights to substitute the publicised prizes with other prizes of similar commercial value, at their sole discretions, and their decision(s) on all matters relating to the competition shall be final and binding.

The organiser – Singapore Eng Teng Association reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at their absolute discretion without prior notification.

By taking part in “Fabric Design Competition’, entrants accept the above rules and regulations.
